Day1: Arrival in Kigali (Rwanda)
Arrive at Kigali International Airport and meet your safari guide. You will have a short city tour visiting key highlights such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, and viewpoints over the city’s rolling green hills. Day 2: Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, head to park headquarters for briefing before starting your gorilla trek. You will hike through bamboo forests and volcanic slopes in search of a gorilla family. Once found, you spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, relax or take a cultural walk in nearby communities to learn about Rwandan traditions.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Drive north to Volcanoes National Park, home of Rwanda’s mountain gorillas, passing through scenic rolling hills and dramatic volcanic landscapes that define Rwanda’s countryside. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of terraced farms and rural villages, offering a glimpse into local life and culture. In the afternoon, you may visit nearby communities or cultural villages to learn about traditional practices and daily lifestyles. Later, relax at your lodge near the park, surrounded by fresh mountain air and peaceful natural scenery. Overnight in the Volcanoes area, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, cross the Rwanda Uganda border via Cyanika or Katuna. Enjoy scenic views of terraced hills and rural landscapes along the way. Arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Evening at leisure at your lodge in the forest surroundings.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking and Nature Experience in Bwindi Forest
Another unforgettable gorilla trekking experience awaits in Bwindi. After a ranger briefing, you enter dense rainforest to track a different gorilla family. The trek can be challenging but rewarding, with chances to see rare birds, monkeys, and thick jungle scenery. Return to the lodge for relaxation and optional Batwa cultural experience in the evening

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park & Departure via Entebe
Depart Bwindi and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife parks. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across savannah plains where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and hippos. The park offers a great contrast to the forest experience of Bwindi.End the day with a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. After the cruise, begin your return journey to Kigali or proceed to Entebbe for departure. This marks the end of your Rwanda Uganda safari adventure
